The Philippine Chapter invites you and your spouse to its annual get-together that will be held on 22 November 2012 at the EDR, ADB Headquarters Building. With the West Group as host, headed by Julie Guevarra, Rory Aragon and Eva Barcelona, this year’s Philippine Chapter Annual Get-together promises to be another fun-filled night.
The theme/attire for the evening is “Dress Up Your Jeans and Win a Prize”. Come in your favourite jeans, tops, shoes, and embellishments just like the good old days. You may just win a prize. There is still enough time to diet or exercise to fit into your favourite “old” jeans. A one-man band will provide dance music. The photo booth that was a hit last year will be repeated.
The planned plated dinner has given way to the traditional buffet to go along with the informal atmosphere. Expect good food. A bottle of wine may be placed in every table if we can get enough donors. As usual there will be lots of games, raffle prizes and surprises.
Registration starts at 4:00 p.m. followed by the Business Meeting at 5:00 p.m. to discuss important updates related to AFE-ADB, our members and our benefits. ADB retirees who have recently joined the Philippine Chapter and visiting members from other chapters will be introduced. Dinner is from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. After dinner the fun begins
Party fare has been maintained at P500 for national (support) staff and P700 for international (professional) staff with some changes to ensure the organizers are prepared for the right number of participants. The previous rate of P500.00 for NS and P700 for IS can only be availed of if payment is made on or before 7 November 2012 (early birds!). For those who make confirmed reservations by 7 November 2012 the rates will be P600 for NS and P800 for IS at the venue. Those who will show up without prior reservations will be assessed P700 for NS and P900 for IS at the reception desk. Spouses and guests will be assessed according to the category of the AFE member.
