It is time to get ready for planning this year's AFE-ADB Europe Chapter Reunion. During the last Reunion in Alsace it was unanimously decided to grab the kind offer of Uwe and Erika Henrich to host the 2013-Reunion in Goslar. This is a place not too well known even to Germans, but those who will be able to join will be surprised of the many treasures Goslar and the surrounding Harz Mountains have to offer. For the details of the program please refer to the attached Invitation.
This year the Reunion will be from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 September 2013 since the hotel cannot make the full contingent of rooms available on Monday 16 September, still being the high tourist season. For the same reason it is very important that you make your bookings before 30 May 2013, as it will be difficult for the hotel to hold the reserved contingent for us beyond that period. The arrangement for the Reunion will be that you make your own bookings with the hotel, while the rest of the program is organized by us on a lump-sum basis, depending on in which activity block you would like to participate.
The Booking Response Sheet is also attached to this mail, and you are requested to fill this out ( Sheet 2 is my own filled booking sheet for your guidance) and sent it soonest back to me, and also please do the payment, as we will have to make some advance payments for the various activities.
Some of you may receive mail from the Europe Chapter for the first time. This is because the mailing list is based on the updated AFE directory and/or because you are a new member of AFE. I would like to welcome you into our midst and may be, you can already make it for the Reunion.
Like in previous years, this invitation is also passed on to the coordinators of the fellow chapters around the world for their forwarding this invitation to their members. Everyone, who happens to be in the area at that time is cordially invited and we are really hoping for an ADB-typical cross-cultural participation.
