The Canada East members of AFE–ADB held our yearly reunion on 29 October 2009 at our favorite Chinese restaurant in Ottawa. Including spouses, we were 28 at the dinner, and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The evening commenced with about an hour of drinks and socializing; then dinner was served. Alan Barry, a past Canadian Executive Director at ADB, reviewed matters over the past year, including that Canada’s AFE membership of the AFE had been divided into two subchapters (one for Canada West and the other for Canada East), and I was volunteered to coordinate matters for Canada East.
Following dinner, further socializing occurred, and the opportunities to catch up on developments and current events were welcome and found most enjoyable.
