The Europe Chapter held its Annual Reunion in Überlingen at the Lake of Constance, (known in German as the Bodensee) on 15−19 September 2016.
Nearly 50 members and spouses joined the reunion in Uberlingen, which was brilliantly designed and executed by Peter Fedor with help from his wife and Chapter Coordinator Gunter Hecker. Several recently joined members were among the group.
Gunther Schultz did his usual very good job of chairing the business meeting, including information from ERO Rep Deborah Kertzman updating us on ADB activities and strategies, Hans Springer updating us on pension, and Jill de Villa on possible changes to the health insurance.
Activities were perfectly balanced, with tours of Salem and Meersburg castles, Mainau's beautiful gardens, a reconstructed stone and bronze - age village, and much more but with good time for socializing, renewing and establishing ties. All had a great time with delicious food and wines.
